Welcome to Musicine — where sound becomes story.

By placing an order with Musicine, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These protect both you as the customer and us as a service provider. Please read them carefully.

📦 Orders & Custom Vinyl Production

  • All vinyl records are made to order.

  • Lathe-cut records (1–6 copies) are handcrafted individually. Please allow approximately 4–5 weeks for standard production and delivery, depending on order volume and material availability.

  • Pressed vinyl (10–1000 copies) involves a multi-step manufacturing process (including lacquer cutting, stamper creation, test pressing, and full production). Turnaround times typically range from 8–12 weeks, depending on quantity, specifications, and plant schedules.

  • Rush services may be available for certain projects, subject to capacity and material availability.

  • Production timelines can vary depending on order volume, artwork approvals, mastering requirements, and shipping logistics.

🎧 Audio Submissions & Copyright

By submitting audio to Musicine, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal copyright owner of the material, or

  • You have obtained clear written permission or licensing from the copyright holder to reproduce the material on vinyl.

This applies to all submitted content, including music, instrumentals, voice recordings, podcasts, spoken word, samples, and any other audio material.

Musicine does not assume responsibility for verifying ownership of submitted content. All legal responsibility for copyright clearance lies solely with the customer.

We reserve the right to pause, refuse, or cancel any order if we believe the submitted material may infringe on copyright. We may request written proof of ownership, licensing agreements, or distribution rights — particularly for commercially released music.

Please note:
Streaming access (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) does not constitute ownership or reproduction rights. You must supply legally obtained audio files and, where applicable, documentation confirming your right to reproduce the content on vinyl.

🖼️ Artwork & Printing

We accept customer-submitted artwork for vinyl sleeves and centre labels.

All artwork must be supplied as high-resolution, print-ready files (minimum 300dpi, correct dimensions, CMYK colour format, including bleed where required).

Please ensure all text, spelling, tracklists, credits, and layout details are final before submission.

Musicine does not offer in-house design services. However, we will provide templates and guidance where needed to help you prepare your files correctly.

⚠️ Musicine cannot be held responsible for delays, colour shifts, formatting errors, pixelation, or print issues resulting from incorrectly supplied artwork.

Final artwork approval is the client’s responsibility prior to production. Once printing or pressing has begun, changes cannot be made.

💳 Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).

  • Full payment is required before production begins, including any applicable lacquer, stamper, test pressing, artwork, or printing costs for pressed vinyl orders.

  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issue and are subject to material and exchange rate fluctuations thereafter.

🚚 Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery fees are quoted separately and are calculated based on location, parcel weight, and delivery urgency.

  • We use reputable courier partners for shipments/deliveries. Courier selection may vary depending on destination and service requirements.

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details via email or SMS.

  • Please note: Delivery timelines are estimates provided by the courier. Musicine is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage once the parcel has been handed over to the courier.

📩 Refunds & Cancellations

All Musicine products are custom-made to order.

Because of the personalised nature of vinyl production, refunds are not available once production has begun.

For lathe-cut orders, cancellations may be made within 24 hours of confirmation for a full refund, provided cutting has not started.

For pressed vinyl orders, once lacquer cutting, stamper production, test pressing, or plant booking has commenced, related production costs are non-refundable. This includes any setup or manufacturing fees already incurred.

If your vinyl arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging so we can assess the issue and assist where possible.

🔐 Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your information will only be used to process your order, contact you about your vinyl, and deliver your product. We will never sell or share your data.
