Founded in January 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Musicine was built on a simple belief: music heals.
The name Musicine comes from the idea that music is more than sound — it’s medicine. Music has the power to heal, transform, and connect us to something deeper. It carries emotion, memory, and meaning.

At Musicine, we bring those moments to life on vinyl — whether through handcrafted one-off and small-run lathe-cut records (1–6 copies), or professionally pressed short runs (10–1000 copies) for artists ready to share their music more widely.
We hold a special place for South African artists, producers, and bands. There is something powerful about an artist holding their own record for the first time — seeing their story pressed into wax, hearing their work spin on a turntable, and being able to say, “This is how I chose to preserve my music.” Vinyl becomes more than a format; it becomes a statement of identity, legacy, and ownership.
