Short-Run Pressed Records
Lacquer A&B pair
A lacquer is the very first physical master of your music. Your audio is cut onto a special disc called a lacquer, which becomes the foundation for the entire vinyl pressing process.
Lacquers are created per side. If your record has music on both Side A and Side B, two lacquers are required. If you are pressing Side A only, then only one lacquer is needed.
The lacquer is a once-off production cost. Whether you press 10 records or 1,000 records, the lacquer only needs to be made once for that release.
Stamper A&B pair
Once the lacquer is created, it is used to produce a metal mould called a stamper. The stamper is what physically presses your music into the vinyl records during manufacturing.
Stampers are also made per side. If you are pressing both Side A and Side B, a full stamper pair is required. If you are pressing Side A only, you only need one stamper, which is half the cost.
The stamper is also a once-off production cost. The setup fee remains the same whether you order 10 copies or 1,000 copies. If you begin with a smaller run and later decide to press more copies, you do not pay for the stamper again.
12" heavy (180g):
A 12" heavy (180g) record is a vinyl LP (Long Play) that is thicker and weighs more than standard records. The designation "180g" refers to the weight of the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) used to press the record, making it significantly heavier and thicker than conventional LPs.

These are usually made from thin paper or cardstock that is folded and glued, lacking the structural thickness of a standard record jacket (spine).

A 3mm spine vinyl sleeve is a cardboard jacket (or outer sleeve) with a 3-millimeter thick edge.
Gatefold Sleeve:
A gatefold vinyl sleeve is a type of LP record jacket that opens like a book, featuring two panels connected by a spine, providing twice the space of a standard cover.
Disco Bag
A disco bag vinyl sleeve is a type of record cover made from cardboard that features a large centre hole on both sides to display the record's label.
White Inner Sleeve
A white inner vinyl sleeve is a protective, typically paper or poly-lined paper pouch designed to hold a vinyl record.
Heavy PVC Sleeve
